The six exceptional singers who collectively form Profusio met while studying and teaching jazz at Capilano University. With Bobby McFerrin, The Real Group, and Take 6 among their inspirations, these talented professional vocalists and arrangers bring a wealth of experience and authenticity to jazz, pop, and classical music as they try to fuse these styles together. As a cappella masters, Profusio has been able to revive the vocal jazz tradition of the 50s & 60s, as well as bring a new electrifying quality to modern arrangements. Audiences have been blown away by the precision and virtuosity of their singing. Profusio is a Latin word which means "to give forth or pour out extravagantly in abundance." That is what Profusio endeavors to do in their engaging performances. With Danny Balkwill, Angela Kyjanka, Alisia Lyne, Steve Maddock, Lane Price, and Liana Savard, Profusio hopes to continue to explore many styles of music and entertain audiences for years to come.
